My Story

2026 · From my home to yours
To reader,
I grew up surrounded by all kinds of creative expression that gave life to my passion for design today
While my father was growing up as a child in Zacatecas Mexico, up until being an adult in the United States, he had always found an escape from his hardships through creating art while raising my siblings and I.
As I grew up in this way, I had always found something so impactful and human about being present in what is the process of a creative— to dream something, and make it a reality, by your hands alone— ultimately igniting a fire in me that still burns brightly today.
Over the years, I ended up designing creations of my own along the way.
Whether it has been through art, music, painting, embroidery, film-making, photography, makeup design, modeling— you name it— any medium that allows me to empathize and positively impact others in a way that stays with them is ultimately what fulfills me, and what now fulfills my career.
Now, as a recent honors graduate from the University of Texas, mastering in Information Science that’s concentrated in User Experience Design and Human Computer Interaction, with a certificate in Design Strategies from the Bridging Disciplines Program,
I’m refining the skills to positively impact the lives of everyday people through empathy and design in a technologically advancing world where human alignment is most important.
With love,
Yesenia
